Fibreglass Aquaculture Tanks can be customised to suit customers specific requirements. Including selecting the colour, shape and size tank for the application.
In Aquaculture colours plays a large role in the design of a tank. Dull colours like black or dark green used for marine life that spends much of their time on the ocean or river bed.
Similarly bright colours like chrome green, central blue or white are used for other varieties of marine life that thrive in bright environments. For instance using the correct colour lessen the intensity of a white interior and can assist fish in “seeing” their food.
However interior colour is ultimately the individual’s preference. Ultimately the colour chosen is the closest match to the fish’s natural habitat for adaption.

The cone base is popular among hatcheries. Cone based tanks allow for easy collection of stock and easy drainage of water. The stock is collected by gravity through the elbow at the base. Cone base tanks collect the debris and waste from fish at the bottom. Cleaning the tank is using the drainage elbow. Drainage is completed without causing any stress to the fish.
