As part of the Chemical Tank Upgrade in Adelaide’s Northern Water Treatment Plants, GO were contracted to replace four steel chemical storage tanks with FRP tanks. The new FRP tanks were two at 65kL and the other two were 180kL. These tanks had the added complexity of being fire resistance, double skinned for spill containment as well as two of them being 12m tall. Newell Composites designed, fabricated and delivered these tanks on time with all the compliant Quality Assurance documentation. With the tanks being made locally it was easy to track progress and inspect the tanks with our client prior to dispatch. Robert August and the team at Newell’s delivered a high quality product with fantastic service. We have used Newell Composites on numerous projects over the past 10 years for duct work, site joins, scrubber tanks and chemical storage tanks, all with great results.
